Exfoliating isn’t just for your face! Dry skin brushing (using sponge, gloves, skin brush) all over your body not only removes dead skin cells for healthy glowing skin but improves lymphatic circulation to optimize detoxification and immune function. Use swift, upward strokes (toward the heart) with light pressure.  Start at your feet & lower legs and work your way upward.  Then move to your hands and arms and do the same.

Dry skin brushing in the evening before bed can also enhance relaxation.  It works to engage the parasympathetic nervous system–our “rest & digest” part of our Nervous System–for a restful and regenerative night’s sleep.
